About

LeTendre Designs began in the heart of my father’s workshop. Growing up watching my father work as a master goldsmith for over 65 years, I learned early on that jewelry is more than just metal and stone—it is a tangible connection to the people and moments that define our lives.

In 2011, I founded LeTendre Designs to carry on this tradition of excellence, blending the time-honored techniques passed down through generations with my own creative voice.

My Philosophy

I believe that the most meaningful jewelry is born from nature’s own design. My inspiration is found in the textures and shapes of the world around me—whether I am hiking, beach combing, or tending to my garden, I am always looking for the hidden patterns that can be transformed into a wearable story.

As a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, I bring a deep, technical respect for the materials I work with. Each piece—whether a custom commission or an original design—is hand-crafted in metal or wax and cast in gold or silver. I take great care to incorporate the details that matter most to you, from hand-selected gemstones to hidden symbolic messages that only the wearer knows are there.

The Artisan Process

When you choose a piece of LeTendre jewelry, you are choosing an original. Because I hand-craft my work, no two pieces are ever identical. My process is intimate and intentional:

  • Materials: I source high-quality metals and unique gemstones, often echoing the legacy of the stones my father curated throughout his long career.

  • Craftsmanship: Every design begins at the bench. I work in metal or wax to ensure that the weight, texture, and feel of the piece are perfect.

  • The Personal Touch: I specialize in the "hidden details"—initials, dates, or symbolic textures that make a piece truly yours.

My studio is currently based in Granite Bay, California, where I continue to explore the intersection of traditional goldsmithing and modern design. Ready to find your piece?
