This entirely hand-fabricated cuff was inspired by the shell I collected on a beach. Sea kelp is intertwined around the bracelet adding to the beach theme. The tumbled deep purple amethysts set off the pinks and purples of the shell’s colorful nacre. A baroque blue pearl offers another unusual shape to the mix. The other pearls include oval pearls from Lake Biwa as well as white and black Akoya pearls.

This beautiful opal of a customer’s has been reborn in a new pendant. The natural coloring of the opal suggests yin and yang. It is framed by an artistic version of a Chinese temple in 14K yellow gold.

Custom necklace with charms made especially for grandma. The topmost charm is a lost-wax casting in sterling silver of the family’s initial ‘G’ with an opal triplet. The next two charms are hand-fabricated in Argentium silver. Each contains the initial and birthstone of a grandchild. The baroque pearl at the bottom adds a decorative touch. That’s not the end, however! The chain holding these charms can be lengthened to add a charm for other grandchildren.

This cocktail ring was not being worn by the owner so asked that I turn it into a pendant. What a surprise when I cleaned it up and looked at the hallmark - my dad had made it!! No one remembered that! I wanted to preserve as much of the design as possible, so I wrapped the side of the band up and around so the bail is the decorative side band. The other side of the band provides extra decoration at the bottom.
