Many of the items in this collection are one-of-a-kind originals ready to find their home. Because of my unique metalsmithing processes, each finished piece is unique and stocked in its current size or configuration.
I find the greatest success comes when creating custom rings tailored specifically to the person wearing them.
A few considerations regarding my ring collection:
Intricate & Asymmetrical Designs: Many of my original designs wrap entirely around the band or feature asymmetrical balance suited for a specific hand or finger. Post-creation resizing often disrupts these proportions and patterns.
Gemstone Protection: I frequently set gems that are sensitive to heat. To safeguard the integrity of the stone, it is much safer not to alter or apply heat to the setting once completed.
One-of-a-Kind Work: Each ring is a unique creation rather than a mass-produced design stocked in multiple sizes.
Because of these unique structural and aesthetic factors, the most rewarding process is designing a ring with a specific size, hand, and story in mind from the start.
